There are numerous research and studies that suggests that inflammation can increase the risks of heart attacks and strokes.   Accordingly, many medical and health experts agree that the anti-inflammatory diet can reduce inflammation, and hence can contribute in treating and preventing CVD.

This is supported by research and scientific evidence that support the fact that replacing high fat, and high sugar processed and refined foods would decrease inflammation.
Furthermore, consuming fresh and wholefoods that have anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can help in fighting inflammation and lowering the risks of CVD.

There’s no real opposition against following an anti-inflammatory diet to treat and prevent CVD because after all, this diet is a very healthy food regimen to consider. This is supported by the fact that it restricts all fats and processed foods which can be very harmful for health.

Furthermore, most medical and health experts agree that most of the foods recommended have actually shown anti-inflammatory effects by decreasing CRP and other inflammatory markers.
