Michael Greger, M.D., is a physician, author, and internationally recognized professional speaker on a number of important public health issues. We can prevent many illnesses and diseases as a vegan. As a vegan, we are not full proof. In today's society because of washing our produce, chlorinating our water supply and soil being deficient we may need to supplement certain nutrients.
