I filmed this video blog about resveratrol at a research facility at the University of Forida. It’s just one of many locations where some mind-blowing research is being carried out.

Resveratrol, and the study of it, is especially significant to me. You could even go so far as to say it holds a special place in my heart. It was part of the catalyst that opened the doors to the world of wellness to me, I brought it to the U.S. in 2009 and I’m all the more blessed to have been able to share what I’ve learned.
It wasn’t all fun, though. Early in my career, having suffered from eczema most of my life, I had turned to Chinese herbs as a potential cure, and ironically I instead experienced severe heavy metal poisoning. Now, that’s in no way a criticism of Chinese herbs. I have the highest respect for herbal remedies and there was a reason I chose this option as a potential cure, the Chinese have being doing miraculous things with herbs for thousands of years, so to say anything negative about it would be like saying food is bad for us if I were to get food poisoning. I simply had the wrong kind and it was badly sourced, but this nightmare experience was actually what led me (as a hard headed and determined young French girl) to explore the Bordeaux region of France after hearing about something called Resveratrol.

Knowing close to nothing about it, but following my instincts and natural curiosity I was led down a path of enlightenment that continues to fascinate me and one that I continue to study to this day. I endorse it, I source it, I sell the highest quality resveratrol products and I simply can’t get enough of it. In fact, I just returned from a week long trip to Bordeaux, to meet up with friends, wine growers, scientists and researchers and locals to continue my learning experience. Going off the beaten path and getting my hands dirty is nothing new to me and when I can combine it with the gathering of new and updated information and then share this information with YOU, it reminds me of why I do what I do and reignites that passion.

My purpose remains the same, only the information evolves. Plus, anytime I can wander the French countryside, drink red wine, eat dark chocolate and improve my health, I am a happy camper! There’s nothing quite like finding out that your favorite indulgences are in fact profoundly good for you.
So much was filmed during this recent trip so expect to see a lot of content about resveratrol in the coming weeks. Subscribe now if you haven’t already and do not miss out. This is a goldmine of info.

What is resveratrol exactly? Well, that’s a big question that won’t be answered in the video description. I’ll let the video do the talking there ( or rather me in it!) and hopefully I can explain it clearly enough that you can become as excited as I am. And of course, if you have questions, good! We like questions And that’s what the comments section is for. We’re here to serve you and learn and share together.
Happy viewing and to your health,

-Naomi
