Asthma is a chronic disease of the airways. It is a serious medical condition in which the airways in the lungs become inflamed and narrow. This makes it difficult for a person to breathe properly and triggers other symptoms like coughing, and wheezing.

But many people believe that since homeopathy uses natural products to treat a disease, it can be quite effective in treating asthma as well.
Homeopathy and asthma: What science says
Numerous studies have been conducted to look into the effectiveness of homeopathy for asthma symptoms, which received mixed results.
In a research review conducted by Cochrane in 2004, it was stated that there is not much evidence available to reliably assess the effectiveness of homeopathy in asthma.
In another study conducted in 2018 on 140 adults, it was found that adding homeopathic remedies to usual asthma treatment is more effective than regular treatment.
