Lupus:

• Lupus is an autoimmune disease causing inflammation & 
   pain
• It affects the skin, joint, kidneys & the lining of heart & lungs


Causes:

• Heredity 
• Environmental factors: 
o Exposure to the sun
o Injury or infection
o Cold or a viral illness
o Anxiety or stress 


Symptoms:

• Joint pain
• Skin rash
• Fever
• Fatigue 
• Weight loss

Natural home remedy using green tea:

The active ingredient in green tea, polyphenol, has anti-inflammatory properties that can treat inflammation & soreness in the body

1. Boil a cup of water in a bowl
2. Steep green tea bag in the bowl for 2-3 minutes
3. Drink this twice daily

Natural home remedy using turmeric:

The chemical curcumin, ground from the roots of the turmeric shrub, reduces inflammation and aids in digestion

1. Cut slices of 3-4 tbsp of dried turmeric root
2. Grind it to get a paste
