Fat is bad. Fat is unhealthy. Fat will make you fat. Fat will get you sick.
How many times we've heard this before? How many times we have read about it across all the diet literature and in the health industry.
Nevertheless, there are currently many studies that reflect on the fact that low fat diets have failed to fight obesity among many other conditions. This is compared to the continued success of low-carbohydrate diets, and the immediate results that can be achieved in the treatment of diabetes and metabolic syndrome without significant side effects.

This puts under question all the common dietary guidelines that have been already established about the bad effects of fat, and points the need to re-asses them.
