Drumstick Juice, Coconut and Honey

In Ayurvedic medicine, drumsticks (the green pods of a moringa tree) are known to improve digestion. Coconut water has healing and cooling properties and reduces inflammation. Honey is also anti-inflammatory and has soothing properties.

With its powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients, this simple remedy reduces inflammation in the GI tract and improves digestion in people with IBD.

Ingredients:

- Coconut water

- Drumsticks (the long, green pods of a moringa tree, used as a vegetable in India)

- Honey

How to make it:

1. Make Drumstick Juice

To make drumstick juice, boil a few drumsticks in water for 10 minutes. Strain the water and remove the drumsticks from the pot.

Peel off the drumsticks skin and crush them to make a paste. Place this paste on a sieve on top of a small bowl.

Use a spoon and press the drumstick paste into the sieve to extract its juice.

2- Mix in the Other Ingredients

Pour out coconut water in a glass. Add one teaspoon of honey to it. Then add one teaspoon of drumstick juice to the coconut water and mix it well.

Instructions:

Drink this mixture once a day to ease colon irritation.
