In Ayurvedic medicine, aloe vera (kumari) is used to cleanse the body of toxins and improve the function of the digestive system.
When mixed with lukewarm water, it helps reduce inflammation in the GI tract, easing the symptoms of IBD.
Ingredients:
- Lukewarm water
- Aloe vera juice
How to make it:
Take half a glass of lukewarm water and add an equivalent amount of aloe vera juice to it. Mix it well.
Instructions:
Drink this mixture as soon as you wake up in the morning and before going to bed. It will help reduce inflammation in the colon.
Note: Always consult an Ayurvedic practitioner before taking these remedies to see if they are in line with your Ayurvedic treatment program.
