How Aromatherapy works

Aromatherapy is used to improve mental health through physical or emotional means by respiratory or topical administration of the oils. When one inhales essential oil scent activates the olfactory system which is connected to the brain limbic system thus influencing mood, emotions, and memories. In contrast, when oils are spread on skin surface they can be absorbed into the blood stream giving them a number of therapeutic advantages.

How to use Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is commonly used for stress reduction, relaxation, mood elevation, pain relief, better sleep, and immune system enhancement. It can be administered through methods like diffusers, inhalation, massages, baths, and topical applications.
