Acupuncture types

There are several types of acupuncture techniques. These include:

1- Acupotomoy / Micro Knife Therapy

Acupotomy is a modern acupuncture treatment invented by Professor Zhu Hanzhang in China.

This therapy is also referred to as "Micro Knife" therapy as it uses both acupuncture needles and a surgical scalpel that is slightly thicker than the regular acupuncture needles.

Research has shown that Acupotomy can be more effective and precise than the regular acupuncture because the thicker blades can get under the skin and break apart adhesions and muscle knots.

2- Pharmacopuncture

Pharmacopuncture is a form of acupuncture that is commonly used in Korea. It combines acupuncture therapy with herbal medicine to provide better efficacy and healing effects.
