I’d like to tell you just a little bit about myself, and also why I love Clean Cuisine’s anti-inflammation diet and lifestyle program. Eight years ago I began noticing that my joints were really aching, and swelling, and my skin always seemed very red. I used to be a runner but had to stop that. Yoga became increasingly difficult when it had always felt so good. I began taking my shoes off at work as much as possible to give my toes relief. I am an elementary school teacher and always on my feet. Whenever I leaned my elbows on a table it sent tough, wincing pain through my elbows. I felt my life changing and not in a good way.

I went to my family doctor who did some blood work and then sent me to a rheumatologist. After more testing it was determined I have rheumatoid arthritis, an inflammatory autoimmune disease.  And that’s what started me investigating food and an Anti Inflammation Diet. I experimented with removing certain things from my diet. The first thing was gluten. For me, eliminating gluten was one of the best things I did. I began to get some relief. After a while, I decided to eliminate dairy. That also made a difference! At first I eliminated it completely. Occasionally, I now eat sheep cheese or goat cheese and drink almond milk. Sheep cheese is my favorite and neither cheese bothers me at all. My daughter makes a killer ricotta cheese from fresh goats milk.

A little over a year ago is when I found Clean Cuisine and took on the online 8-Week Challenge.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said that I wish I had known about this so much sooner. I love Clean Cuisine!

The Challenge is rolled out step by step, which I find incredibly helpful and doable. I looked forward to each day of the Challenge. Another big reason I love Clean Cuisine is because I learned so much about food and how it affects your health. And with the weekly newsletters I receive I still continue to be educated. It’s wonderful! Because of the continuing education, I have added a vitamin K2 supplement, sea kelp granules (for iodine) and other things I never knew could help me be more healthful.

Anti Inflammation Diet Stops Rheumatoid Arthritis Flare Ups

I follow Clean Cuisine and have adopted the Clean Cuisine Anti-Inflammation Diet. It has changed the way I eat and look at food, and changed the way I feel for the better!
I thought I was eating clean and healthfully before, but taking on the Challenge totally helped me kick it up a BIG notch! Since following the Clean Cuisine Anti-Inflammation Diet I have not had a major rheumatoid flare up! In the past, my flare ups would be so severe that I sometimes had to stay in bed. I would get a migraine from being in so much pain. So you can imagine just how happy I am to not have experienced that in over a year. Headaches are gone too!

I bought the book and Ivy’s Clean Cuisine Dinners Cookbook and have made many recipes, which I love. I also have Ivy’s Full Fitness Fusion DVD, which I do 3 times a week. On the off days I do yoga.

My children are all grown and on their own. But I have shared Clean Cuisine and my whole anti inflammation diet journey with them and they have incorporated so much of it into their own lifestyles. Although my husband doesn’t follow the program, he supports me and has made some changes himself that I never thought I’d see! I am happy to continue on my Clean Cuisine journey and I am thankful to Ivy and Andy Larson for doing so much research and providing Clean Cuisine.

So if you are thinking about taking the Challenge, do it! If you are hesitant, don’t be! You deserve to take the journey and make it part of your life so that you can feel your very best.

I took the Challenge, embarked on the journey. I’m glad I did.
