Asthma is condition where the patient feels that he is unable to breathe. Breathlessness is there, tightening of the chest is there and patient is unable to breathe. They are not able to inhale and exhale properly and patient is unable to do walk for a distance or do any work because of the breathlessness problem. Asthma is of different types and it is based on different causative agents. In Ayurveda, many products are there which vasodilates the bronchioles and it helps the asthmatic patients to breathe slowly. Secondly mucus formation is there and because of which breathing difficulty is there. Thirdly there are products which acts as natural expectorants. In Ayurveda, the body doesn’t become habitual of it , because of the mucus production, that is slowly thrown away from the body. In allopathy patient have to depend on the inhalers, nebulisers are used and sometimes with steroids.in Ayurveda, there are medicines for asthma and patients can live a healthy life in the natural way.
